What is real, what is simulated
Bloom is a concept open for testing. This page lists exactly what works, what is pretend, and what is not built.
Bloom is a concept. It is built to be tried, not to be relied on. Here is the honest list.
What genuinely works
- Accounts, documents and credits. Real data in a real database. What you create stays until you delete it.
- The tamper-evident record. Every step on a document (created, sent, signed, declined, revoked) is sealed with a fingerprint that includes the step before it. Change anything later and the chain visibly breaks.
- The signature check. Each signature is a real cryptographic signature, checked again every time the verification page opens.
- The public verification page and QR code. Anyone can open them without an account.
- Private file storage. The Vault keeps your uploads in private storage that only you can read.
- Books. Issue a book, add entries, see it on both sides.
What is simulated
| Part | How it is simulated |
|---|---|
| The one-time code | No text message is sent. The code appears on a "simulated phone" on the screen. |
| The face scan | No camera is used. A short animation stands in for the check. |
| Identity | No Aadhaar, PAN or any real identity check happens. |
| "Describe it" and "Upload a file" when creating a document | These don't use real AI or real file conversion. They produce a plausible editable form. |
| Credits | Free placeholder credits. They are not money and can't be bought. |
What is not built
Being built These are ideas, not features.
- Real e-signing through a licensed signing provider
- Email verification and password reset
- Recurring documents such as meal tickets, and in-person signing by QR
- Requesting a book from an institution, and approving or declining requests
- Bulk issuing to a group, departments and extra staff users
- Notifications
- Downloading a signed document as a PDF
- Document expiry dates
Your data
Anything you type or upload is stored in a shared test database, and the people running Bloom can see it. Don't enter real personal details, real identity numbers or documents you care about. There is no account deletion yet; to have yours removed, write to support@bloomgard.co.
