Create an account

Anyone can create an account. You need an email address and a password of at least 8 characters.

Choose your app
Open Bloom for individuals if you are a person who signs or sends documents, or Bloom for institutions if you are setting up for a university, school, housing society, bank, company or similar.
Click Create an account
Use the link under the sign-in form, or go straight to /signup in either app.
Fill in your details
Individuals give a full name, email and password. Institutions also give the institution's name and what kind it is. You become its first admin.
Start using it
You are signed in straight away with 10 credits.

Try a full round trip

A document needs a sender and a signer, and you can't send a document to yourself. To see the whole flow, use two accounts: for example, one in each app, or two in the same app using two browsers (or a private window).

In account A, create a document and add account B as the signer.
In account B, open Inbox (or To sign in the institutions app) and sign it.
Open the document's verification page from either account, or scan its QR code.

The workspace

The sidebar is the same shape in both apps.

Item	What it is
Dashboard	What needs you, what you sent, and recent documents.
Inbox or To sign	Documents sent to you. Ones waiting on you are listed first.
Outbox or Sent	Everything you sent, and where each signature stands.
New document or Send	Create and send a document.
Books	Runs of related documents kept together. Books
Vault	Your private file storage. Vault
Credits	Your balance and what each credit was spent on. Credits
Settings	Your profile and your preferred way to confirm it's you.

The credit balance is also shown at the bottom of the sidebar, above your name.

Signing in again

Go to the app's sign-in page, enter your email and password, and you are in. You stay signed in for 7 days on that browser, or until you click Sign out. An individual account can't sign in to the institutions app, or the other way round; Bloom tells you which one to use.
